Ben is the Experienced Recruiting Strategy Leader for RSM McGladrey. In this role since late 2006, he develops and delivers programs and strategies designed to enhance the firmís overall recruiting efforts. Since Ben has joined the firm, he has led initiatives to re-launch the employee referral program, establish new hire and candidate surveys, change national job board providers, and train recruiters on writing effective job descriptions and using social networking tools.
Ben has over 14 years of experience in recruiting, providing strategic and tactical recruiting services to organizations including The MITRE Corporation, Intelsat and BAE Systems. In each of these roles, Ben has been a leader in advocating the applications of technology in recruiting, utilizing metrics to improve performance, providing interviewing training to management and staff, and developing out-of-the-box tactics to identify talent.
Ben is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with a bachelorís degree in Psychology. Ben has served a board member of WTPF, a DC-based HR organization, from 2006-07, was an Expert Advisor with the Human Capital Institute in 2006, and an Advisory Board Member of Jobster in 2005.
