As a consultant, Art Koff’s client list includes major publications, recruitment communications agencies, web sites, job boards, corporations and 3rd party suppliers to corporations in HR related fields. Art has made presentations at local, national, and international association meetings and at conventions and trade shows. He has appeared on NBC and has been quoted as an authority on new developments that effect recruiting older workers in the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Money Magazine, Fortune, New York Times, Chicago Tribune and other major newspapers in the US and abroad. Following a career with the Chicago Sun Times, he helped build and market a suite of over 1000 niche sites focused on recruiting and has been helping employers to develop cost effective recruiting and retention strategies and utilize the internet to reach seniors and minorities.
Art founded the RetiredBrains.com suite of sites in early 2003 and these sites have developed into a major destination for seniors and retirees providing information on a wide variety of subjects. It includes a job board for older workers.
His book Invent Your Retirement: Resources for the Good Life, is a complete reference guide for retirees and people planning their retirement. Employers have provided the guide to retiring employees to help them transition.
Art is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Chicago Executive Program.
