Kat Drum touts a vast array of specialties, including: global employment branding, strategic sourcing, social networking, developing interactive solutions to include search engine optimization and designing virtual career fairs and text messaging campaigns. At Starbucks Coffee Company, Kat has successfully launched the employment brand campaign in Latin America, Greater China, France, Germany, Greece and Hong Kong; now, she is working on implementation in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and Russia. Kat is also credited for creating the EVP toolkit, to be used by teams when developing candidate and talent segment value propositions, with a laser focus on ROI. In addition, she has worked to create unprecedented synergy amongst the company’s internal teams (i.e. Marketing and Digital Strategy). In every venture she assumes at Starbucks Coffee Company, from pre-hire to retire, she maintains strong focus on the candidate experience.
Prior to her high-energy career at Starbucks, Kat worked for Bernard Hodes Group as Account Director, where she utilized significant experience in developing and managing employment branding campaigns, from conception to execution, to achieve clients’ objectives of communicating their brand to potential employees, and accomplishing recruitment goals via major media channels. Her primary responsibilities include building client relationships, marketing strategies and new business initiatives. Kat’s top clients included, but are not limited to, American Express, FedEx, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Cox Communications. Other past credentials include working as Media Director for Jobing.com and as Employment Marketing Manager for Marriott International.
Kat received a BS in Management from Penn State University.
