Valda Boyd-Ford is one of America’s leading presenters on interactive communications, health, work force performance, diversity initiatives and management, and cultural competency. She’s also one of the funniest. A member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Valda founded the Center for Human Diversity, Inc., in 1998 and is Chief Executive Officer of the Nebraska-based enterprise that develops customized training programs for the rapidly changing demographic landscapes of our times.
For more than 25 years, Valda has helped leaders in the healthcare, insurance, law enforcement, education and food service industries develop environments where all people feel good about their work places. She has helped executives slow down the expensive and demoralizing revolving door we know as recruitment and has developed strategies that lead to retention.
She is an advisor to the Director of the National Institutes of Health, and hosts a local television show on community health.
