Michael is the Director of Marketing at Gild, which exists to bring meritocracy to recruiting by taking the guesswork out of who’s talented. Michael joined Gild in 2011 and helped launch Gild Source, the company’s flagship technical recruiting product, in May of 2012. He spends most of his time thinking about how to enable hiring teams to find and engage talent in radically new ways. Prior to joining Gild, Michael worked in marketing at PicScout, a digital rights management company, which was acquired by Getty Images. He holds a B.A. in English from Reed College, where he focused on modern American literature, because it’s better than old English literature.
